A self-inking stamp re-inks itself on every press, so it gives a clean, even impression thousands of times before the pad needs replacing. Standard uses are a company address block, a 'PAID' or 'RECEIVED' mark, a GST-registered notice, or a signature stamp. Text-only designs are sharpest; fine logo detail below about 1 mm can fill in over time.
